These Dyneema extension lines (LIROS) make it possible to fly the NASA STAR at a certain distance (2m, 3m, 5m, 7m, 9m) from the kiter. This increases the usable wind window. The lines have colored knot sliders (red, yellow and blue "overcoats"), so that bridle lines are prevented from becoming tangled at the attachment points. At the other end there is a knot / loop option for attaching to the flying lines, which is also identified by a color code. The extension lines are wound on a practical BK winder and secured with a bungee.
