The new Pulley Depower Bar (50cm) is suitable for all NasaStar series 2, 3, 4 and 5 with FAD (Front Area Depower) and FAS (Front Area Safety) and can optionally be attached to the trapeze with a safety shackle.
By combining stainless steel sliding blocks and deflection roller, the bar holding forces are reduced by approx. 40%.
For additional relief, the micro bar can be gripped with both thumbs.
The patented deflection mechanism for the depower and safety line allows the leading edge to be pulled in and lowered when the bar is pushed away.
In this way, the “NasaStar” minimizes its pulling power.
If the bar is completely released, the kite folds up and the safety line only has to absorb a small pulling power from the “NasaStar” and the kite falls to the ground.
Alternatively, the “NasaStar” can also be flown with this bar without being attached to the trapeze. This gives you the function of a classic two-line bar with a safety line.
For your own safety, you should use a hand leash, which is attached to the O-ring of the bar.
